Spearritt plays Joan, a young woman trying to break into the movie business by working as a personal assistant to actress Tilly (playing herself). But for Joan, Hollywood becomes more cutthroat than usual when Tilly gets involved in a movie about the murderous exploits of living dolls Chucky and Tiffany, and the real things come to call.
