With eye-popping, in-your-face visuals, "Appleseed" boasts a new form animation called "3D Live Anime." A combination of groundbreaking three-dimensional computer animation, in conjunction with two-dimensional character animation recreates the best qualities of traditional cel-based anime. Set in the year 2131, after most of the world has been devastated by war, "Appleseed" chronicles the battle between mankind and bioroids, a race of cybernetic pseudo-clones designed to aid humans in domestic capacities. But when ideologies flare and aggression rises to the surface, the thin veneer of peaceful coexistence is shattered.

Inspired by a true-life story, "Coach Carter" is an inspirational account of a controversial high school basketball coach, who received both high praise and staunch criticism when he made national news in 1999 for benching his entire undefeated basketball team for poor academic performance.

"Racing Stripes" is the tale of a baby zebra named Stripes (Muniz), who is accidentally abandoned by a traveling circus during a rainstorm. The helpless zebra foal is discovered by horse trainer Nolan Walsh (Greenwood), who rescues Stripes and takes him home to live with him and his young daughter Channing (Panettiere) on their modest Kentucky farm.

Stripes soon becomes a happy member of the farm’s barnyard animal family, led by a cranky Shetland Pony named Tucker (Hoffman) and Franny (Goldberg), a wise goat who looks after Stripes. Assigned by the Hand's current leader, Kirigi (Yun Lee), to kill a man, Mark Miller (Visnjic), and his 13-year-old daughter, Abby (Prout), Elektra soon befriends them and decides to stand up to her ninja peers.
